Sukin – Cleanser & Moisturiser Review

Today I bring you babes another Sukin review! I am very excited to be trying more of their products as I love this band their simple yet powerful motto:

“Skincare that doesn’t cost the earth”

I have reviewed their shampoo and conditioner here on the blog and I highly recommend you checking out that post here so you can get to know this beautiful brand a bit better. Their main goal is to be as sustainable as possible, which involves:

✓ being carbon neutral

✓ recyclable packaging

✓ no harsh detergents, propylene glycol, sulphates, etc.

✓ biodegradable – meaning that the products won’t damage/contamination of rivers, animals and plants once down the drain. Scrubs are free from micro plastic beads.

✓ 100% vegan – NO animal cruelty, NO animal derivatives and by-products.

Today I am going to be talk about their cleanser and face moisturizer which I have been using both religiously for about 3 months now. I use them at least once a day, the cleanser followed by the moisturiser. My first impressions of these two products are: love the packaging, the pump makes everything convinient, quick and hygienic; the bottles are small making them easy to have around (specially if you have small bathroom shelves like me); they both smell lovely.

The Cleanser: I always use this in the shower. It is brilliant at taking makeup off! It is very gentle yet cleans my skin perfectly leaving it very smooth and fresh. I love that feeling of freshly washed skin, my skin feels tight and young! Another thing I love about this cleanser is that it does not burn my eyes. I find that great as it allows me to really rub my eye makeup off. I think it is a great sign that the company uses good ingredients that are not harmful to your body and skin. Finally, a little bit goes a long way with this product, I don’t even use a full pump to cleanse my whole face, so personally I think it is totally worth the money as it will last you a very long time.

The Face Moisturizer:  this is my daily moisturizer. I apply it after I cleanse, basically after my shower and in the morning before doing my makeup. I really love the scent of aloe vera, it is very light and soothing. It is super light on the skin yet very moisturizing. I love the fact that it absorbs quickly not leaving the skin sticky or feeling heavy, hence why I am able to apply it before doing my makeup. Once again, just like the cleanser, a little bit goes a long way, a find that a full pump is way too much.

In conclusion, I love these two products, I love using them both together, I think they complement each other perfectly. So far this brand keeps amazing me with their brilliant products and I am definitely going to keep using them. I am thinking of trying out the facial scrub next, I will keep you updated. Thank you so much for reading! Let me know your thoughts on Sukin. Lots of love,

Ines x
