It is so good to be writing to you again.
Yesterday I had my first exam towards my degree. When I think about it that way it sounds so surreal. That is the main reason I have disappeared for a while, I wanted to focus my brain on Psychology only.
I have also been house hunting with some of my friends for next year. We have some viewings booked in the next couple of days. It is very exciting but it is unbelievable how much work goes into trying to find a house to rent. Our priorities include: cheap, location, bath, dish washer, cheap, tv, cheap. University halls do not feel like a home (we don’t even have a living room or sofa), so I am very excited to rent a proper house next year and call it a home. – Check out my current Uni Room.
I also decided to start applying for part-time jobs. When I moved to Uni I had to quit my job back at home. Since I am now settled and have my life
sort of organised I think it is a good time to start working again. I don’t necessarily need a job, I can survive without one easily, I don’t care about money that much, all I need are oats, bananas and dates hahah. However, it would be good experience to add to my CV and also start building up my savings account again. I have applied for a couple of jobs within my area (fitness and sport) and hopefully I can find one with little amount of hours per week.
Little update on my November Goals post: I have been a lot more into reading which I am very pleased about, if you have any recommendations of books please comment below. It has also been great to meditate more often again. I meditate at least once a day for 10 minutes before going to bed. I have also been more committed to the gym and started Christmas shopping! Must start setting monthly goals more often, it really motivated me, specially because I shared them with you guys.
